Update on a Focus I was looking to buy.

Here is the original forum I started back in July.

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=321621

He has lowered the price to $2500. Take a look through everything and let me know what you think. Is it a good deal? Bad deal? Something smell fishy?

What's your price range? About $3000? For 2500 you can still find something better if you're patient. I sold my old ZTS for 1900 and it needed nothing.

yeah, my max price is $3500. i just need a car asap. if i took it to autozone or advance and had them do a computer scan, they could tell me what that means, right?

i did see that the motor mounts themselves arent too expensive. how much would a place charge to replace them though? likes, whats a good deal on that? if you know or have an idea...

Kind of seems your trying to talk yourself into this car and that's a clear warning you should walk away. You can find a lot of decent cars for 3500 just might not be a Focus.

Around here there are a ton of Foci for sale, and to me on the one your looking at, it's just a standard ZX3 with Kona moldings. It doesn't have the mats, the rack, or anything like that. so your pretty much just getting a ZX3 with highish miles. I got my 00' ZX3 with 122k miles for $2500 if that says anything. Also no heat shield = lots of heat everywhere, the Zetec is naturally hot so that's not very good either. pass on it man.
