Emissions testing turboed car in AZ

A lot of you know my car on this forum Highly modified 2002 focus zx3 fully built and boosted putting down 478 whp and 482 wtq. i am planning on moving back to az and emissions testing concerns me. I doubt it will pass the test. Anyone know of a way around this? Or Ideas how to get it to pass? I was thinking getting a separate tune to put on the car when taking it for emissions.

I have been asking the same question and never had any answers lol
where are you going to stay in
there are some parts of AZ where they don't even bother with emissions like some cities that are close tio the mexico board

in Phoenix where I am currently living - obd reading and fuel cap
I have had short ram and headers with oxygen sensor cheater and pass it no problem the only thing that makes me asking this question being here is EGR system

I am going to turbo my car but still don't know yet if I am going to get rid of egr
and there is a chance I move to CA but CA suxx on their emissions

yea I don't think there is a part of California that isn't super strict, might as well register it to a PO box in Utah or Nevada lol

From my understanding they do obd and visual inspection, i do not have obd, and the obd looks at several things that i know have been disabled for the boosting aspects. from what i have read here is what they look at on obd reading. http://www.lxforums.com/board/f225/e...w-pass-279097/

im sure by now you know what city you are moving to. look for inspection stations online, get the phone numbers, call them up and pepper them with questions. fill them in on your car and let them know what all has been done and they should be able to help point you in one direction or another. alot of times if you talk to the right person they can tell you where or how to get one of those "wink wink nudge nudge" inspections done where technically you're car would not pass by letter of the law but they can see that the car is safe to drive on the road so they just look the other way for the most part. thats how ive been getting mine done up here. initially i couldnt get my car inspected just because i had a header that deleted the stock cat. but ive been getting one of those wink wink inspections for the last 6 years since then with no issue

don't register P.O. box... go PMB if you do. I had a car registered at my school address one time.
