My favorite tire by far. I had these on my '03 SVT for a few years here in Cleveland and they were great! Tread is very aggressive and great for snow. When my '13 ST needs new tires these will be my first choice, hands down.

Had a set of 205/50/16's on my 88 325is. I use to think my car was crappy and loud until I got these tires. Could not believe how i talso took away a bad wheel bearing sound

I Loved em so much that when I got my 07 Focus, that also has the identical sized tires,I swapped them over. I don't drive the BMW anymore as it's in storage, but boy I'm loving everything there is about these tires!

I have killed two DWS due to impact, and my friend has killed 2 DW also due to weak sidewalls.
However I still love both those tires. especially the DW

What the heck are you guys hitting. I've road raced over bumpy roads and even ice raced which takes rough to a new level and never blew one out due to impact and some of these tires were cheap.

I don't know, but I've read a lot of reviews with people saying that the side wall was a weak point for these tires.

If your intention is a high performance track tire that you thrash mercilessly with your over tuned suspensions, then yes, I can see them being killed early

Had the DW's. Loved them. Only downside was the sidewall was a bit weak. Mine lasted for 1.5 years with driving my car almost like a race car every day. I usually push through my turns almost to the point of sliding. Never had the DWS since we have no need of that tire down here.

for the dws, the wife drove over a curb. killed both on the one side.
for one dw, my friend had a nail puncture, and by the time she had pulled over for the flat, the sidewall was completely thrashed. im not sure about the other.

Well, most tires are designed to be damaged/run over curbs. These are performance all season tires, if you want something strong buy a michelin comfort/run flat tire. I had extreme contact DW's and they were beyond amazing on handling, even in the pouring rain they gripped and never let me hydroplane. My friend put DWS's on his TL and loves them.
