So, in 4 weeks the Fucus as gone down 3 times now. Starter went twice and now the hard radiator hose has split. So, yet another set back! FML

Not my bag for sure but more power to ya...

Some folks fill the back of their car with 18" subs while others put $4000 worth of 22" rims and tires on a 20 year old rust bucket -- to each his own...

I have about $15K in my home theatre system with most of that in speakers but the geometry of a car interior isn't exactly conducive to high AQ even before you factor in road noise while driving. My next addition will be an Emotiva XPR-5 to give me 5 channels of 400W. I doubt I'll ever drive them near that but it's nice to have headroom.

You can't possibly play that at anywhere near max volume without ear plugs -- what SPL are you getting...

I would love to get into home pro audio! The loudest leagal score (doors closed meter on the window) was 148.9 db. My highest port wars (in box) score was 168.7 db. The 16 tens never saw a meter but got many friends and other bassheads confure it around 153 db. But that was a guess. In the end I'm lookingfor 155 db on music.

That's insane, absofrickinglutely insane!

That's Saturn V level and way louder than most any handgun or rifle.

Near total silence - 0 dB
A whisper - 15 dB
Normal conversation - 60 dB
A lawnmower - 90 dB
A car horn - 110 dB
A rock concert or a jet engine - 120 dB
A gunshot or firecracker - 140 dB
