I just used enamel paint on mine, like the stuff that you paint grills and stuff with. holding up pretty well for driving on gravel and such. I sanded em down, primed a few coats, and then laid the enamel spray paint in like 4 or 5 coats, then clear coat. all in all it cost 20 bucks and I was able to do it in a few days with curing time.

I'd say plastidip until you find a color you want. they have everything. simple black, red, white, etc, to their blaze and neon lines, to the new metallic coats (anthracite, gold, etc). all of em look really good to me. experiment with it. the stuff is dirt cheap, so why not?

It is durable and resistant to weather but will fade in color over time.

here's mine after the summer (it's on plastic hubcaps, but still)

okay, it's not of the wheel, and those are dirty as crap BTW, but that gives an idea. keep in mind that was salt, 50 below zero, and ice. I also accidentally used simple green cleaner which has some chemical in it that plastidip says do not use, which cause the fading too.
