Youre correct. The ECU and IAC is idling like normal now. I have a new concern though. This CAI filter is located under the bumper of the driver's side and if I run through a lot of standing stormwater, I am concern about water going into my engine and fuc*ing it up big time. I wanna try to make a shield to wraps around it from the fromt to prevent water from going in it. Is this recommended? Do you know what i'm referring to?

Just fab something up out of sheet metal. They cost about $50.00 through vendors. I would never pay that much for $15.00 worth of sheet metal.

If you knowingly drive thru a lot of standing water a cai may not be a good fit. I made a splash sheild with plexi glass. Mounted by drilling a hole for the bolt the cai attaches to rad bracket and used zip ties to hold it up. Super cheap.

Whatever you do don't use a elbow to turn the filter upwards. If you drive thru water, water can get trapped in the elbow. Ask me how I know?
