GTs run mid to high 12s stock, right? A low 13 would be a few ticks slower than that.

as I pointed out anyway... no friggin st ran a low 13 like the guy said that day. As a matter of fact no st ran.
and for your info since you wanted to jump in without knowing, yes an AUTO stang runs about where you said. then again, the v6 with manual and perf package runs mid 13's. so what was your point?
Nothing like someone defending an imaginary number that never happened

I'm not defending an imaginary number. If you would read the thread and actually comprehend what you read, you'll see that I said a low 13 for a stock ST was not believable.

I quoted you because you responded to RonMaiden's post with 'recheck your GT times'. The point I was making is that he had the right times. (BTW, when I asked if the new GT ran mid to high 12's, it was a rhetorical question, not a literal one. I can Google.)

He was saying that a Focus ST is NOT good for a time a few ticks slower than a new Mustang GT. A low 13 is a few ticks slower than a mid to high 12, which a Focus ST will NOT do. No need for him to 'recheck his GT times.'

And so what in the hell are you trying to make an argument out of?
manual gt's are high 11 low 12 w/ perf pack fyi since you google so damn well, that was my friggin point. hence the recheck your gt times.

High 12s by all the car rags and your average driver should be able to pull off with a stock base GT was what I was referring. Who cares, the point is no ST would even be capable of a 13 second1/4 mile in stock trim.

I feel the car has more to give than this.

Anyone in NJ, DE, PA should come run with me sometime at atco.
I'm in for E-Town.

Atco is farther and I don't care for the cramped burn out box

My best was 15.91 @ 87.23 with a slipping clutch at Gateway Motorsports Park during FF2013. Was hot as hell that day.
