I'm going to give this a go this afternoon. What's interesting is the Bluetooth connection on 3.5.1 had just started giving me guff, so I reversed paired and all of a sudden I was getting song title info (although minus artist) from slacker.

I'm kinda disappointed though that the layout is the same. Someone posted a mockup from another site that showed a much more logical layout with Bluetooth and usb on the same page and the radio on the right.

I also will try but not hold my breath that my zunehd will work again, unless it wipes the hard drive and starts over fresh. Seriously I don't know why that's not an option.

I also have not had any problems with navigation since the update. It did reset my navigation view preferences but that wasn't a big deal. It also reset voice prompts to 'novice' mode and as mentioned before deleted my wallpapers. It also changed the sound for my "new text message" prompt.

Unfortunately my audio still briefly cuts out 2-3 min after starting the car every single day. not sure what thats about and happens regardless of input source (radio, satellite, USB, BT)

There was a quick mention of this in the ST thread linked before, but has anyone noticed the random audio 'skips' being gone? I know at least with my system there are often random 'skips' in audio playback. They usually occur just or shortly after having turned the car on... though I have had a few even after hours of being on.

I have not yet had the audio skips. I had them before almost every time when using BT. I had to turn Bluetooth off then back on on my device and reconnect to fix it.

So far this has not happened since updating.

Totally overlooked Torque's post, that's what I get for skimming quickly.

Hmmm, hadn't thought of turning that off. I was wondering what process in the background it could be hanging up on. I'll give this a try on my lunch and see what happens. :)

It is quite helpful. I make it a policy to keep this off and always have since a couple of months after I got my car (Aug 2011). Helps the system boot up faster, nav loads faster, BT connects faster when it doesn't have to scan the phonebook for changes with every startup. Just have to remember to manually update it now and then if you make a lot of changes to your phonebook.

Just updated, there is a very slight upgrade in response. I like that bluetooth MAP is working (galaxy note 2 w/ a stock-based ROM on custom kernel) but I am disappointed that it won't transcribe a custom message when you reply to a message. What I mean by that is when you tell it to reply to the message, it gives you a list of presets that you can choose from (you can edit them or add more if you want). Not a terribly huge deal cause you can add presets to fit most replies, just kind of annoying. I'm sure this is common knowledge to people with phones that worked before.
