So a quick update.

I brought my car to the dealership to have the transmission reprogrammed. They did reprogram the TCM to the latest version for my car using what was said in TSB 13-4-6. They were unable to reset/reprogram the adaptive learning module. They said that could mean something is wrong internally with the transmission. They said if it continues to have problems, to bring it in under warranty. The car continues to drive the same.

But on another note, I am using the latest 91 oct tune from Injected Engineering and it definitely made the car more peppy. Still sluggish at times though.

And now a new problem popped up. After driving on the highway for 25 minutes, I tried to do a WOT pass when the cars RPMs suddenly started going from 6500 down to 2000 and back, stuttering and losing power. Did this a few times the past month.

Any idea why? It worries me. Thanks everyone so far for the feedback and info!

Put the stock airbox back on, it would have been the first thing I did.

Why would you tune it with transmission issues. Injected specifically said NOT to do this... You realize that Ford may hold this against you if you want your tranny yanked and serviced.

Its hard to tell whats a problem in this car and what is considered "normal" so I can see justification on using the tune to supplement it, but it may hurt you in the long run. I'm sure dealerships caught wind of tuning being out.
