The XCAL2 is no longer sold only the XCAL3 , It is very rare now days to have issues connecting to the SVT but it does still happen

I've been using the xcal3 a lot lately while tuning my car with tom. It connects everytime. Seems to work pretty well. The only problem I had was when installing a tune it would fail constantly and then I had to revert to stock tune to attempt to install the custom one again only for it to fail. This wasted a bunch of my time and was extremely frustrating. So I did a bunch of googling and found out I wasn't the only one with the problem. Read a couple different solutions to the problem that worked for people so I kinda combined them. So every time I need to upload a tune I hook up the battery to a charger and pull fuses 46 and 61. It works every time and I have had zero problems since.
