How do YOU wax your car... that is if you do at all...

I've finally started building up my arsenal of cleaners and waxes and polishes and such and I was just wondering; what are some of the tricks, processes, or what have you that you guys do when you wash and wax your car?

Personally I use Zymol soap and dry it in the garage, then do a quick run of Turtle Wax -Super Hard Shell paste or TW - Carnauba Cleaner. Then for the next 2-4 weeks all it needs is a spray-n-wipe and some spray wax.

My last car I had 13 years. the last seven i NEVER cleaned it. When it rained i might rub off some of the dirt from the hood and doors with a paper towel.
LOL

My 2012 i washed once right off. Then waxed with Zymol. After i would just rinse it off and strip the water with a California Water Blade.
So a year went by. I waxed the hood again.
Then last month at 22 months of ownership i waxed the whole car again. And cleaned the doors etc.
That should be good for another year. I never actually 'wash' it with a soap cleaner)
Ps I have indoor (heated Winter) parking, and can rinse my car off in the garage all year round. (snowing or not)

Usually if it is snowing or raining.. When I come in i rinse the car off a bit and wipe dry with only the Water Blade.
Being a Yellow Blaze color.. this car really wants to be super clean.

yeah, yellow cars don't exactly hide dirty water spots so well. I just grew up washing cars with my dad (and hated it), but now I'm the one out there washing all the time lol.

I gently caress the microfiber towel as I fondly rub the body with premium synthetic wax.

I use Viva paper towels to wax my car. they are great. Especially on the wheels. The dirt they pick up.. just toss and use another. Works great.

I'll start with a good soapy water wash and dry.
Then claybar the thing using quick detail spray as the lube.
Then a meguiars #7 glaze
Then a caranuba wax coat or two.
While doing this, I sometimes pull the wheels off and give them a quick repaint.

I wax it 3-4 times a year, it gets washed in a car wash every 2-3 weeks with the package that includes a spray on wax and wheel cleaner. Little brake dust so I don't really worry about those. Dress the tires regularly for the damp look, not the wet look.

i wash with the turtle wax car wash and shine, dry off with my electric leaf blow which makes drying off 100x easier and leaves no spots. Then I use the express shine from turtle wax which is much quicker to give a quick shine, then i spray down my tires with tire shine. Works well and even my black mk3 hatch stays clean for a while, I notice the more often I wax the longer it is between washes....
