Smile Curious About MY Differences

Hi All

After owning a 2003 Focus for about 10 years I recently traded that in for a 2013 Focus Sedan SE. I noticed that the date on the sticker is 5/14/13. I assume that is the final assembly date, or close to it.

I also read in a recent post that the MY2014 Focus began production on 7/8/13.

My question is do you think that the standard features (engine, transmission, interior, etc.) of a 2013 Focus Sedan SE built in May would be the same as one built in July since it is only two months apart?

Thanks.

If no changes were made then it would be the same, if there were any changes that were made for the 2014MY then you would not get them in a 2013MY car.

Actually Ford may change anything at any time during production if it was a small improvement.
And, unfortunately delete something sometimes.. Like the 'sport suspension' in the "Sport package" SE
IE the different shocks..
Just as you read cars produced before XX/XX/XXXX need some recall.. Ford started the change when it became needed/ noted and fixed. NOT just at some special period. But at any time during production.

What he said, I didn't take into account manufacturing/part changes. I was merely thinking feature differences.
