4F27E and FN4A-EL are the same transmission, one is Ford and the other Mazda version.

4F27E is the ford transmission.

If you're asking how to distinguish them visually. You will know when you see one for a Duratec because a slot for the starter will be on the front side of the bell housing. As far as Lentech's site is concerned, they don't make the distinction on the site. You simply tell them that you need one for your year focus model, and they will do the rest.

@TheGlassMaker
Tom is probably the most reputable person on this site when it comes to Foci running FI, and he will tell you in a heart beat that the OEM ATX will not last under these conditions. Randy at FSWERKS will also tell you that the factory ATX is not cut out to handle FI. I don't know who Cjohn364 is, but he must not be running that much boost if he has been using the factory ATX for long.

Sounds like a plan to me.
Added to list of wanted/waiting parts.

This may be a dumb question but does anyone know if there is a need to get tuned once the lentech is installed? I would assume that it ISNT needed as it is just a more durable trans but i am just trying to get everything clear.

unless the trans gear ratios are changed dramatically the tune will not have to be done, and even if it does change that much (which it shouldn't) then the change will be in the shift points and maybe modify the shift firmness to liking or preference. The actual tune on the motor will not be in need of change. IF the stall converter is a different rpm than stock, change may involve a tweek to the tune but again it will need to be a drastic change.

I think you'd be better off spending the money on an MTX swap. My automatic transmission is a POS even without boost. I think the conversion might be cheaper than the Lentech, and you get to choose gears instead of watching the car slip into third every time.

But I don't know jack about cars, so someone else should probably chime in.
