2003 Focus transmission fluid overheating

Help,
My 2003 Focus started to slip out of gear (automatic transmission) engine would reve up and then slip into gear. Engine code p1783, not warning lights and not strange sounds form the transmission. I changed the fluid, filter and temp sensor. Still having problem. Any ideas?
Thanks

I would put a gauge on the pressure line tap and see if the line pressure is where it should be.

If it is not, I would start with the EPC solenoid.

Here is some tech info about your trans:
