Synch only calls 1st name in phone book

Left the dealership with a Synch glitch. It will only call the first name in the phone book after saying "calling dot". We tried several phones, iphone and samsung and it did the same with each. I hate to have go in already for a service visit but these things happen.

Before I go back for a service visit, any thoughts on the problem? The sales manager was going too fast for me to pay attention to everything he tried but I believe he did a reset and restore default settings.

My wife had a problem a while back when she got a Fusion w/ Sync for the first time. All of her contacts in her phone were capitalized (every letter) except for one contact. Sync would only pick up that one contact that didn't have all the letters capitalized.

Maybe its something weird like that.

I believe this was a concern with the SYNC software. You should be able to update your vehicles SYNC system from syncmyride.com without a dealer visit. If not you can go to your local dealer and they should be able to update it for you.

Hey, Racer 49!

Shoot me a private message with your VIN and the details so I can help.
