RDC coming out with new intake soon.. True COLD AIR..


In regards to the dyno..isn't there a fan usuall placed at the front to simulate the "driving" feel?

lol "cool air" meaning heat soaked directly by the engine, correct? I like my typhoon right now, and have no problems with it. But I'm not going to discredit the aem one. I honestly plan on buying it next spring and trying it for myself.

and yes the same debate has been going on forever, never really know which ones better... but back to ops question... did you ever decide which system to go with?

yeah, thats why the short rams show 10 hp and the true cools show 4 (down by the fender) no real driving simulation air down there....

im waiting for RDC and going to order one from them, there products are promising and tested/proven to show gains thus far it seems. and it will be an easy install im sure

Never ordered from RDC... Do you mean injecteds CAI from RDC?

AEM's is proven gain too.. Someone on here is putting 190 some hp to the wheels without a tune using the aem system.

This is correct, but partially. Focusboy58 is also running headers and a 3" exhaust, and has always dyno'ed strong from the beginning. Not to discount AEM's part in the system though. This is why I want to see an intake-only comparison to OEM to see what it adds.
