ebay gauges vs speedhut, just read dont jump to conclusions

OK heres my predicament...its not about the price difference, hell i'll pay the difference from speedhut compared to the ebay ones, however, the speedhut ones do look good but comapred the to ebay ones, they ebay ones look a lot better. For instance:

Does ANY good company make gauges like the ones on ebay but with a better fitment...the second link i provided is more of the look im going for as the first one has a aquaish color which isn't my cup of tea, want some blue blue blue colors :)

The speedhut is just one solid blue color, which i guess is cool, but I want some red for the kmph and the empty line and the temperature (hot) level.

I've asked speedhut and they can't do any color customization, best they could do was put both kmph and mph on it.

Got to be somebody that can make some gauges...

well speedhut all I know about them is that their fitment is perfect. But man, those first gauges on ebay are MADD TYTE JDM yo

I've installed several of both. Ebay gauges are absolute crap. They don't fit good, they don't light up as they are 'so called' described as on ebay. Example, the EL glow gauges say they go from blue to green, well they don't. Every single one I have installed goes from light greenish blue to dark greenish blue (almost a dimming effect). They also come with a very strange setup for the switch. There are 4 connections available, all different, no instructions, strange. Another thing is that the instructions are so brief you will have a better chance of just fluking out on the install yourself.

Speedhut though, the quality is supurb over the others. They light up the way you expect them to, way more customizationable things (see www.speedhut.com) and for what, under a hundred bucks, cheap too. The ebay ones are very cheap.

Don't believe me, buy one of the ebay sets and compare it to a speedhut and you'll know...

You cant really compare a product made by a company who sells the majority of their products on ebay to a company that speciallized in making customized gauges right to order.

I dont have any experience with the ebay gauges, but I did arrange a group buy with Speedhut for another Focus board and everyone was satisfied with their gauges. I had 5 sets in my hands and they all looked perfect.

Personally I'd rather do things right the first time than mess around with cheap crap and end up having to replace it.

Well i got to say is I aobut e-bay guages 2 years ago the fit perfct and still work great. Although i did have the color issue. Blue or lighter blue. Other than that i have been real pleased. I do not have a tach however that might have somthing to do with it.

Those Ebay gauges look like crap. They look VERY similiar to my OEM gauges from my Dodge Intrepid.

I designed my own speedhut gauges...I love them ...
I didnt like the way the 1st set came out...so they made me new ones at no charge..how cool is that?

ive asked and they said no they cant which made me sad cause they are 'custom' ill call them and ask again i guess

what happens with your oil temp/pressure guages? I can't tell in any of your pics if you did something to make them match the speedhut blue, or if they are still stock green
