02 SOHC oil dipstick tube

So when installing replacement engine in sons 02 SOHC dipstick tube broke off. Took oil pan off but was unable to knock it back up and out from the bottom was just wondering if anyone knows of some type of upgraded part I could use for replacement instead of the poorly designed pressed in factory? Somethimg that maybe screws in etc...

Mine corroded about halfway down and snapped. I used a redneck fix: slid a 4 inch length of fuel hose over the bottom part, then slid in the top part until they met. Your oil level might be off by a wee bit, but it's a very cheap and easy fix, assuming you have enough length left on the bottom part of the tube.
