Mercon V is what my owner's manual recommends. Have you looked in your owner's manual under fluid specifications?

http://www.docstoc.com/docs/document...doc_id=9216698
in this documents its says MERCON V

https://www.fcsdchemicalsandlubrican...ickref/atf.pdf
in this one it says MERCON LV

is it possible that until 2007 there was not LV oil so they recmanded V
and soon as LV was made they recomanded him as replacement for th V?

Use MerconV. You should always consult the owner's manual that came with your car in the glove compartment. That will give you the specified fluid for your vehicle. Mercon LV is not compatible with your transmission. If you didn't buy your vehicle with an owner's manual, then search online and eventually you'll find an owner's manual you can download. This is important to have because it will help you figure out how to change light bulbs and other simple things that you might have questions about throughout the life of the vehicle.

Maybe this will help: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/76...mercon-lv.html

The master chart showing LV only for 4F27E is wrong just like the earlier master lube chart they used years ago showing V went in all cars using regular Mercon. That chart back then tore up plenty of Ford cars getting serviced right at dealerships using official Ford charts. The fiasco forced the remix of all Mercon V at the time but plenty of damage was done. Ford hurriedly yanked all those charts after the lawsuits piled up and issued a bulletin covering the issue and the fluid remix later. Looks like some dumb-ss making up current charts has not learned a thing. Even now other oil manufacturers are reluctant to drop 'Mercon only' fluid to go to a Mercon-Mercon V mix. They still sell both whereas Ford does not, only the one. Could be because the 'Mercon only' also works on Dexron cars and they don't want to confuse the issue and affect sales.

Use what the owner manual says and pretty sure V not LV.

LV stands for low viscosity. If your transmission is not made for it, damage will result. Ford switched to this fluid on some vehicles in 09. It is important that you use MerconV not LV.
