2012 dct 17k miles no balls

Just made a 13 hour drive from ky to fl and about 25 miles from my destination, I felt a surge and then an all out loss in power and the tranny doesn't want to shift. No cel or anything but I think I tripped the fuse that the 12v plug is on last night pulling a phone charger out that broke and sparked in the process. I'm going to try to find a dealership in the morning to deal with it but I'm wondering what I may be up against.

If it is a repeatable problem you should be fine. They expect some issues with the dct at this point.

In all honesty, It could be simple over heating. What were the ambient temp? What rpm range were you in? The car will reduce power by ~50% to cool the oil off if temps get too high. It happened to me when I was playing around on a 95 degree day (and I drive an MTX-75)

It was upper 80s and I was driving 80-95 mph for about 5 hours and I accelerate hard when I go around people who cut me off. It's not doing it anymore so hopefully the problem is fixed.

Has it happened again? I haven't had this happen (knock on wood). When I drive in snow and the TSC kicks in I get the same effect but never just normal driving.

???

I bought a 2012 SE Sport and have driven clear across country multiple times. Over 40,000 miles now and several 26+ hr trips only stopping for fuel, but never had this issue with mine...
