Replacing rear-view mirror lights

Does anyone know how to access the light bulbs in the exterior rear-view mirrors? I don't see any way to remove the lens covers on the bottom or side lights. If I crank the mirror all the way inward I can see the lamp sockets through the gap, but it looks like I'd have to remove the mirror glass to get to them...is there a way to do that without breaking something?

You do have to pop the mirror out (it's on my to-do list), but the thread I was reading said that as long as you're firm but gentle, it will be okay.

Let me see if I can find it...

Excellent, thanks Scott! I looked on YouTube earlier, but for some reason couldn't find this video.

Per that YouTube video, there was no need to remove the mirror. I just did it quite easily using a pair of long surgical forceps I happened to have. It's just a press-fit rubber socket that can be coaxed out with a bit of wiggling. And contrary to what the video said, I was able to fit in a 20-SMD T-10 bulb which does a great job of lighting up the door and nearby ground with a bright white light. Thanks again for your quick reply.
