Who could imagine that a husband and wife both end up dead while parking their car with no earthquake, gunshots, fire, explosions, etc. -and- minimal vehicle damage.

My prayers go out for that poor little child...an adult would have a hard enough time dealing with that, but a child? There is a need for loving support and possibly counseling.

Horrifying how life can be changed in an instant.

Sent from my HTC One using FF Mobile 4 Beta.

Tragic - and sadly "preventable".

Even 'knowing better", who hasn't stood in the potential path of a moving vehicle while trying to give direction at least once?

New Driver or "Pro", too easy for something to go wrong... Not the first of this type I've heard of this year, just the worst.

Careful out there!

I'd seen the story on the internet a while ago... assumed it might possibly be fake. The pictures of the scene are a new element to it however, never seen them before. Pretty gruesome. I have always made it a point not to place myself in any possible path of a vehicle. I guess now I don't feel stupid for being so cautious.

I hear ya, I also don't walk in the path of a moving vehicle. I'm happy to wait than become ground beef. Look at how many people drill into buildings because "their foot slipped".

I've driven and worked around fork lifts for the past 7 years. I always use extreme caution around heavy moving vehicles.

Sucks the kid had to witness the whole event. prayers go out to the family.

Well I'll just say it this way, people with sub par intelligence and lack of hand-eye coordination should be barred of using motor vehicles for the rest of their lives.

When I taught my wife how to drive. The first lesson- she hated it- was to put hit the brake and the gas alternately for like 2 mins while I watched. It saved us too because she didn't let go of the steering wheel and nearly drove into a tree. She thankfully hit the brake.
