Question Noisy SVT suspension

Hey FF. I am having a bit of a problem diagnosing some noise issues with my 2002 SVT. Last May I drove down to Illinois (North of Chicago) and encountered some of the worst roads I have ever driven on. I was literally cringing pretty much the entire time I was on the road.
Anyways, after returning home I had started to notice a pretty loud clinking noise coming from the rear passenger side area. It is hard to notice while driving on new pavement, but even hitting the slightest bump brings a pretty loud rattle noise. Also, when I turn my steering wheel it makes a very loud creaking noise.
My first thought was that my exhaust or heatshield had become loose, but upon jacking my car up and inspecting, I determined that was not it.
I am thinking It is the strut and if so that would explain the creaking noise when I turn the steering wheel.
If anyone has had this problem before or heard of anything like it, I would really appreciate some help . Thanks!

Couple ideas to check.

Strut bearing (at the top of strut) - If you watch/touch the spring while someone turns the wheel, getting a lot of vibration there and/or seeing the top move in a jerky fashion, top strut bearing is hanging up.

Sway bar links, shocks, even brake cable holders might be things to look at in the rear.

Luck!
