Steering Wheel on the '13 Focus ES

I remember I asked this at the dealership, but I forget the answer. There is a "1" and "2" that are circled by stars on the right side of the steering wheel. What is the purpose of these buttons?

It used to be the favorites buttons for MFT, but since the later versions have allegedly removed this functionality 1 goes to the home page, and 2 goes to services or vice versa at the moment.

Your steering wheel controls may also have these additional features.
Press to go to the home screen.
Press to go to the information screen.
Of course they didn't bother actually changing the graphics from star 1 and star 2, but star 1 is home, star 2 is information/ sync services.

Thank you, I had looked at the manual first, but the pictures do not match what I got.

I do have the My Ford Touch.

Hi, Mike0376,

Congrats on your new Focus! Like suss6052 said, both of these buttons default to different functions. The *1 brings you home, while the *2 pulls up your information screen. Here are some other resources to get you started: http://support.ford.com/topics/sync-...c-myford-touch

Give me a shout if you have any other MyFord Touch questions!

Antonio

Thanks Antonio, this is by far the most loaded car I have ever had, so a lot of things are new to me.
