Don't believe anything that a car salesman tells you.
My nav works fine.

I woudl be happy if the NAV took into account drive traffic and drive times when planning the route.

This. I've never had it avoid traffic before. In addition, searching for POIs is a pain in the butt (at least for me); I never know what city obscure restaurants are in. I just look up the complete address on my phone before putting it into MFT.

Maybe in 10 years I'll be able to code android into this with a capacitive touch screen and a raspberry pi... and then it's time for a new car!

"proposed" class action? That sounds strange. Either they filed this lawsuit prematurely (proposed seems to imply that there is no plaintiff...yet) or there is something else fishy about this claim.

Another thing, based on the complaints you'd think they'd concentrate their efforts on going after the alleged DCT problems first. Although MFT and DCT are technically options, DCT is far more ubiquitous.

Classes are always "proposed" until a class is certified by the court.

Basically, an exercise for the rich to get richer, and the others nothing. What about all the products that don't do the job: exercise machines, diet formulas, even the MdDonald hamburgers that don't end up as the advertised pictures......

THe lawyers will make millions off it if they win. The consumers actually affected, at best, will receive a coupon for $100 off any new ford vehicle.

I have no intention of signing up for this. MFT is no worse than my computer at work running Windows Vista.

Most classes are opt out. You have to take affirmative action to be excluded of you are a member of the class.
