My Armada routinely beats my Focus despite it's massive size and weight. It's all about torque and gearing. If you wanted to beat cars racing, the ST would have been the car to buy off the lot.

the newer grand caravans have a ton of hidden potential. we have some family friends that bought new cars in 2013, a grand caravan brand new, and a dodge ram 1500 brand new. caravan with the big ass v6, and the ram with the bigger v8. the caravan smoked the ram on a rolling start on the interstate. they don't mess around, don't feel bad lol

Yeah! Never underestimate a minivan with a v6! Remember, they are designed to be capable of keeping up with traffic, going through mountains, on camping trips with a little off road all while being able to haul part of a packed in middle school football team

Minivans aren't as helpless as one might think! ;)

Yes, my 08 Chevy uplander will smoke my zts. If not for traction control, it would be completely worthless in the winter/snow. TC kicks in from stops in the rain, too. Lots of torque in the big 3.9. Way more than 2.0 zetec.

Chrysler use to use a lot of Mitsubishi engines and Mitsubishi built some of their cars, Stealth, Laser, Talon, Colt, 2dr Stratus and Sebring. The 3 liter 6 and double overhead cam 2 liter 4 were some great engines Mitsu sold to Chrysler. Much better than Chrysler's at the time.
