Components in a 05

I wanna run seperates in my fronts ... Prob is I can't bear yet to Dremel holes in the door panels for the tweeters the mids arnt a issue for me and I'm not aware of anyone that makes a pilller pods for em either ... I was thinking modding the c pillar but with the power mirror knob i can't see a way... What have y'all done that run components help

Hi Mike,

Personally I am not a fan of tweeters in the door panels. It just ruins the soundstage IMO. Depending on what set that you have bought, there should be sufficient mounting options for the tweets. I have mine mounted on the "A" pillars about 4" below ear level. It works really well.

If you have fair skills with fiberglass and bondo, you should make your own pillar pods. It will save you a ton of money.

I'm with Freemind on this one. Play will some fiberglass and make some A-pillar pods for your tweeters. These are the ones that I built for my 07 ZX3 and imaging is very good. Good luck man
