First Mod?

I just started getting into modding and wasn't sure what mod I was going to add first to my 2012 Kona Blue SE. Any ideas? I was thinking a K&N intake first, but im reading that it's really only worth it if I can actually feel the change. Here are the mods I want to perform:

Intake: http://www.autoanything.com/air-inta...A1915A0A0.aspx

Exhaust (which one?) http://www.fswerks.com/collections/e...2013-hatchback

http://www.borla.com/products/focus_...t__140400.html

Lowering Springs:http://www.bojix.com/suspension/eiba...it-2012-focus/

Wheels: http://fifteen52.us/shop-2/#!/~/prod...093&id=2763065

Otherwise that's pretty much it for right now. I was thinking of a little detailing on the inside of my car but I would rather do the major ones first.

All are great choices.

The big question is what do you want to spend?

Intake is the cheapest, If you do springs its a good idea to match the springs with new shocks/struts or else the stockers will wear out very quickly. I would go for the Borla Exhaust. and Wheels will be the most expensive by far because by the time you buy all 4 wheels, possibly tires, swaping over your TPMS sensors, and tire install. your looking as a good chunk of change right there.

And Moved to: DURATEC Ti-VCT Performance (2012-2013)

Tinted windows help the look and protect your interior.

ok thanks for the recommendations but what types of shocks do u think would work well with the springs? and should I tint myself or should I let a shop do it for me cause that seems a bit more reliable + what %?

Rear sway bar, motor mounts and tune would also be good mods.

Throw some tint on the car but let a shop do it (20%). Is it an auto or 5-speed? The injected tune is great for the DCT cars. It's great for the 5-speeds too but the automatic cars really come alive with it while getting rid of all the factory issues.

So the motor mounts are exactly what they sound like they support the motor to the car. by installing stiffer mounts the engine moves less in the engine bay and that energy is transferred to the drivetrain and ultimately the wheels. Or simpler getting more power to the ground.

As for tuning the possibilites are just about endless. A basic tune will adjust shift points, and change engine parameters to product more power, make your engine work better with mods, and can even improve gas mileage.
