MK3 1/4 mile times?

I know some of yall have to run down the track occasionally. Was wondering what kind of times you guys were getting? maybe list your times, top speed, mods, and tranny. I have to guess that this car is capable of around 15 stock

I've seen reported times from websites/magazines ranging anywhere from 15.7-16.7@83-86mph, pretty broad range. I think 16.3@85 would be a fairly close estimate. Check out the drag racing section of the forum though. I suggested a moderator sticky a thread that allows forum members to post time slips of their 1/4 mile runs.

A sticky for that would be a good idea. I might run it down at MIR next time they have midnight madness, so I was wondering what I could get bone stock. I was getting 16's with my old mustang. I honestly think my focus is faster

The best I ever pulled was a 16 and it was at a crappy track not to mention I'm not a good track driver, better on the street lol,I know for a fact this car can do a 15 and with all my mods now I will try to break that time.

I ran a 16.4 @ 85.5mph. The car only had a couple thousand miles on it, 1/8 tank of 93 and I pumped the tires up to 40psi. 492ft above sea level and about 80 something degrees that day. It did NOT make a diff if I used the launch feature or just floored it off the line. My car is a 12 Titanium sedan DCT with standard TI wheels. I will go back soon now that I have 20k miles and the engine has broken in more. Hoping for 16.2 LOL!

I mean, thats not terrible... I'd like to see at least 15 with mounts, intake, and exhaust. Somewhere in the 15's I guess.

Yea I was a little disappointed. I would hope with those mods someone would be in the 15's.

Injected made it into the 15s at focusfest and there was still room for improvement.

I know my DCT makes it hard for me to launch.. I changed the top and bottom motor mounts and I figured this would help launch the car more but theres still like a second or two lag. It almost waits for the rpms to drop then it starts to go. SO I gave up on the whole "launch control" thing

I couldn't imagine a decent DCT tune to eliminate that little bit of lag, it would be amazing.

Yea, I was almost thinking it was a "safety" feature to keep people from putting extra stress on the CV joints.
