How To Install Led Trunk Light

If you are like me and think that replacing the factory bulb just is not light enough. and you have leds on the interior this makes everything look great for show and function.

I saw there was no how to for this install and figured it would help anyone trying to do this.

* this uses the factory trunk light so when you open the trunk the light comes on and closing turns it off

Duration: 45 minutes

Tools:
Wire strippers
Electrical Tape
Zip ties
flexible LED strip color your choice (key word flexible!!)
factory replacement bulb is optional

I used the orange wire as positive and black as negative after testing them always test the wires for correctness..

Then i Military spliced into each wire by separating the wire of each and running the wires for the leds through each one respectively, negative to negative positive to positive!!

Then twist the wires around the factory wiring so they are secure
