The trip computer resets at 2000 miles, not 2500. Well at 1999.9 it rolls over to 0 again after that tenth of a mile.

They did not change that in the newer software.

Back ontopic about the TSB. Will they do this for 2012's?

The Tsb update will give the 2012 a 4 screen split display if you can get the dealer to do it, am I understanding this correctly?

Yes. Cite TSB 13-06-27. They are required to do it regardless whether or not they can replicate the problem. Any 2012 model falls under the manufacturing date requirements.

I am do for an oil change and rarely let the dealer do anything but warranty work. I do like that you can ow see everything on one screen. Can I tell them I want the update even though I have no issues or can they deny at will?

Really if you don't have the issue you'd have to hope they were willing to just update it, or you need to say you had the issue but it's intermittent, because even if they can't demonstrate it happening at that moment then they are supposed to update the ipc software. But if you just phrase it as wanting an update they may say no or you have to pay for it.

They will not update, it's a 2 hr labor time process, unless they think you have an issue. Better to tell a small white lie and get it updated. That's what I did.
