There have been previous posts where the dealer had to do the re-flash several times before it worked. You would think they would check that before they gave the car back to you though ...

Well, that makes me feel a little but better then. At least it's not a lazy tech! :) And, yes, I totally agree that they should've checked it before sending it out the door. Definitely not happy about having to come back in, but at least it's nothing major.

I had mine in for the TSB along with a couple other fixes. Was told on the fone that the update was DONE. Nope! not even listed on the paperwork I got.
WILL be going back to bitch.
Already had enough delays getting my couple issues fixed that I had a Ford rep intervene to get the ball rolling.
NOT impressed with Ford at all, my dealer has been awful as far as returning calls & Ford itself refused to pay to fix a small hole in my seat cover(Dealer said they covered the cost).

I took mine in last week and asked for it to be done. They said nothing was wrong when they checked it but when I took the car home I had the 4 quadrant display!

I did have success in getting the quadscreen update. No problems at all. Went in and told them it was intermittently going on and off. Did not have to go armed with papers.

Cool deal. I always wanted the quad display. So my questions -

Do you still have the single panels as well?
Do the head/tail lights (on the display) still illuminate when the lights are on?
Did the cruise control indication change or remain the same?
Never saw anyone post a 5-spd display - any difference?
Any other changes, good or bad?

Yes, you still have the individual pannels.
Yes, The lights still light up. Though I wish they changed this to a front and rear view of the car instead of an overhead.
No, it changed but only that the text is a little clearer and the cruise control icon is green like it would be in the gauges instead of white.

The other changes I notice is that the information light in the bottom center of the warning lights no flashes when the door is locked to simulate an alarm light.

I think mine flashes already, but maybe I'm dreaming that. The little red i, right?

Otherwise, all good things. I didn't like the cruise standby on the 2013 Fusion or the fact that the head/tail lights didn't light up like on my Focus, so knowing that remains means I'll be asking my dealer for a flash when I go back in for an oil change in a few thousand miles. Might also try leaving a cabin filter on the seat and see if they swap that out too. :)
