My setup for now

04 focus zx5 autotragic, 220k runs like new

system info,

pioneer cd dvd player
0 gwd power and ground wires
bout 12 gwd wire for speaker
kicker 15 L7
sundown 1500.d amp
300 amp fuse

upgraded from two alpine type r 10's in a sealed box with alpine amp

I will build a amp rack at base when I build crates one day, or wood for blocking and bracing, so don't mind the mess

and the alpine set up before hand

Currently saving for a high amp alternator, possibly 200 amps or if there is a higher out put one, a different one, either kinetek batteries or two yellow tops.

also want to get a dc audio level 4 sub or a fic audio, seeings how I got the sundown amp for them, the L7 doesn't seem to be at full potential on my stock battery and alt.

my youtube with some of my other setups

I woulda assumed that the Sundown would be more than enough to run that L7 (assuming it's CEA compliant), w/o feeling like it "doesn't seem to be at full potential " . Even on a stock battery. I'm no fan of the L series, but man those suckers are loud. =]

The sundown amp needs to be on a second battery to have full power sense it is drawing so much power. I am sure my stock electrical current isn't nearly enough. I just upgraded to one yellow top battery yesterday which my car and set up loves. I like the L7s, I miss my tens which hit super low and hard. But after hearing a fi btl 18 only on 1000 watta and two dc audios walled yeah I want them lol.

As for caps, I've never ran them. I've heard it takes as much power to run them and for them to return back the voltage then with out. So I guess to each their own

No cap!

Deff would have a second battery in there. I would avoid kinetik. I would do an XS or Deka intimidator group 31. I would avoid Optima as well.

I have 2 DCs 18s walled in my car.. lol

Tantric sounds is the new brand everyone is nut hugging right now. They have some nice subs. Im wanting 2 HDD18s. But would have to do some serious electrical upgrades to feed them all the power they need.

These are renamed deka intimidators

No. The one I posted is an AGM battery.

The one you posted is not good for inside a car.
