Rota Slip Streams

I've gotten some OT at work and I want a set of lightweight wheels for the Focus- my current SVT wheels are a bit heavier than I would like.

I'm going with 16's to match the new rubber, but what offset is everyone running? Then there is the color choice - Gunmetal

Any examples on a 2nd gen? - tons of looking with little to no results...

Now there are three width choices, 6.5, 7 and 8 - I'm going after MPG's here and I've got 205/50ZR16 ExtremeContact DW's on my SVT wheels at the moment.

After the wheels its getting lowered, spoiler installed and some tint- I've also got new headlights with CCFL Halo's and HID 55w projectors installed ;D

Well, if you want the best mpgs, then the narrowest will also be the lightest wheel, both will help mpgs. The 2nd gens handle lower offsets and wider wheels better than the first gens. I'd be rocking the 16x8's and an offset around 38. Would look nice and handle well, although you would be having a slight stretch on your tires (iirc 205/50's recommend 5.5-7.5" rim widths)

205/50 is a great size because of all the tire choices and sits really well on a 7" wide wheel. 40mm offset is pretty standard for focus fitment but as stated above, the 2nd gens have a little more room.

use this calc to see how much you can get away with- put in your current wheels specs and measure how much further out you can go http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

I'm currently trying to coerce a coworker to trade their 15 spokes for my snowflakes plus a little cash. If that fails, and you're price is in my neighborhood, we may be in communication.

They look it; I should have held out on the antenna used that as weight (as little as it is) for why I should be the ones you ship the wheels to.

Here is what they will look like(= I love mine. The lighter weight makes a huge difference in pep and acceleration. Mine are 16"as well, and mine are painted gunmetal with plastidip:
