The wheels sell for around $230 each and the tires for around $200. Even if I round up and say $500 for wheel/tire, that's still only $2000. Where is the other $3000 coming from?
18" HRE a "gasp inducing" $5200 for 4 plus about a $1000 for the BFG Force Rival tires which were probably SEMA show items.

Probably not worth it to most of us enthusiasts for the price of the car as a whole but it's mostly a rolling advertisement for the parts and application of them.

The 14.2 1/4 is probably a bit pessimistic since their (C&D) stock time was 14.8 so a drop of 6 tenths isn't bad but would be bigger in someone's hands who willing to really wring it out with some practice but my guess is a 13.8 is more realistic and traction limited.

Toss out the wheels and tires and I think it's a great deal.

300 HP with some bolt-ons and a .8 second reduction in 0-60 time is awesome. Wish I could strap all of that on to my ST.
