10, 0000 bux in upgrades but over half of that is on the rollers. The car with the right driver and a good race track near sea level should run easily in the 13s, the guys at C&D were light on the stock one running a few ticks off of the mid 14s I've seen recorded several times.

I saw this article as well, really surprised to see it in car and driver. I'm glad half the cost went to wheels and tires. Makes it more appealling.

I dont have the magazine in front of me but did they list what the wheels were? Per the Tanner link I posted above, it says Motegi MR120 19x8.5 and Hankook Ventus V12's. The wheels sell for around $230 each and the tires for around $200. Even if I round up and say $500 for wheel/tire, that's still only $2000. Where is the other $3000 coming from?
