Sounds like you just need to replace the Clutch Master Cylinder. HERE is the how to for that and HERE is link to our How To archive for any other things that you may be needing to do to your focus.

Good luck and let us know what happens as it can help others who have the same problem.

Bled the clutch today and pressure is back, though it is only a matter of time before it goes away again. Something just feels off even with the pressure back, I can't place a finger on it it just feels odd. It will get me where I need to go until the Master Cylinder comes in. I will update when Master Cylinder is installed.

Update: I've taken my time in posting again to make sure things work alright.
While waiting for the MC to come in I bled the clutch lines to last me the week and that worked just fine. Once I got the MC in I put it in immediately and added new fluid and bled the system. There's a slight but noticeable difference in how the clutch feels, more of a good thing I believe. 2 weeks out and clutch is still working fine! better than before I would say for sure. I've run it through several situations that I knew would cause failure in the past and the car performed wonderfully! Thanks to all for your valuable input!

Replace the master cylinder. It is a shared reservoir with the clutch slave cylinder.

Alrighty then, it's been three months and a day since I've signed on.

But the good news is, it's been 4 months since I replaced the MC and I have not encountered the problem since!

thanks again everyone for the input

Very good! Tx for the "progress report".

Always wonder a bit how things work out in the long run...

Cheers!

Great to here how it went. Not many folks update their threads to let others know if they problem was fixed or not. This will greatly help the next person with the same problem.

Update for 8 months after the repair:

No issues whatsoever. Not even once has the pressure dropped in the pedal since replacing the MC.
