You'll have to be more descriptive than just lagging as that can be a number of things from dirty sensors to bad fuel pump or anything in between that. What other symptoms are you having? Have you done a tune up lately spark plugs, wires, and fuel filter?

How do you know? If the fuel pressure is falling that can cause the symptom you are experiencing. Pumps can work and not put out the correct pressure. Of course it could be a vacuum leak or something but from what you say it sounds fuel related to me. Only way to know for sure is to check the fuel pressure using a scanner, fuel pressure gauge, or someone with a tuner who can datalog and look at your fuel pressure.

See how your description got you that? Or woefully incomplete. You could be lagging with, lemme see, missing, bucking, misfiring, a/c on, normal hot temperature in Texas at this time, or even a flat tire.

Too many posters now do this and it NEVER helps them, in fact, will get them pointed often at wild conclusions since no real facts given there.

Use some more adjectives and adverbs next time you post.

If car seems to be running OK, just slower, I'm gonna say normal temperature power loss. These cars don't like heavy heat, I've got like 3 of them and they all do it.

Post more, you'll get more.
