Need help 09 se sedan suspension question

Hi,

Well I am new to the focus, just bought an 09 se sedan off of a family member for a good price, however the suspension is shot on the car, the rear tires show some bad uneven wear, and it just rides horribly. I am able to do the repairs my self, I am not looking to go the performance route right now, just some oem stuff to get it back to a good ride.

I noticed monroe has the quick strut kits for what appears to be everything but the se model. Is there something similar to this for around the same price?

I have about $500 or so to do this with, not counting the tires. Is this possible?

If this is in the wrong place I apologize, I did do some searching for the info, just had trouble finding it.

I sent a message to village ford, cant call them now as I am at work.

I did some looking around though on the frpp, are they a firmer ride? I drive 80+ miles a day to and from work and want to be comfortable, some performance would be nice, but comfort comes 1st. Also I cant seem to find them for the 09 se. Does a different model years package fit?

It's a "firmer" ride but it's compliant enough that you shouldn't notice a huge difference.

On 08+ you can install the springs and struts for 06-07 as there is little to no aftermarket for 08+

You cannot install parts for 00-05 without the "omni kit"

08+ springs will not fit 06-07 struts without the 08+ 'top hats'
Likewise, 06-07 springs will not fit 08+ struts without 06-07 'top hats'

So I have to mix and match them then? Damn was hoping to avoid busting out the spring compressor...had a bad experience with a friend using one, saw him get punched in the face by my old probe gt's front spring. (He didn't fall though)

But to make sure I have this right, I have to by the frpp set up for the 06-07, then just change out the tops with some for my 09?

I thought trying to find stuff for the probe was goofy.

I had a corvette oil filter, GM HEI module for the ditsy and all sorts of other Frankenstein parts on that thing.

Edit:

Is that the kit you are talking about? If so, I would need to by the "top-hats" for my cart then right?

And with this setup http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...tKeyField=8880

I would need the "omni kit"?

If you dont want to lower it, I just pulled the stock suspension off my 09 coupe se. The rear shocks are just Monroe sensatrac, but everything else is ford and was fine when I pulled it off the car, suspension parts were only on the car between other lowering springs, so used but not high mileage. If you're interested- pm me. Wouldn't want too much for it all.

Damn, already order the parts, just went with oem, not looking to lower it at this time, just need it to get me the 40 miles to work, and the 40 miles home.

But thanks I appreciate the offer.
