Nooooooooooo!
Sure you can go above rated power but wouldn't suggest it much.

Guys will the pioneer PRS-D800 be class d? (turns off when car switches off and doesnt drain battery) or would i need another amp?

Been saving over the past few months haha so now am looking to buy, and is it really worth getting rears?

if the front speakers are amped up... wouldnt it logically speaking be so loud that you won't even hear the rear speakers??? ofcourse fader is set towards front rather than rear, since it is amp'ed up

Every amp is going to turn off with the key providing its installed correctly. I wouldnt suggest using this amp for full range speakers only. This amp has no EQ and your speakers wont play as low as 10Hz, so its a waste.

Side note, what speakers do you have?

I would suggest a 4 channel amp for in case you want to amp the rears in the furture without needed to buy another amp to do it.

Yes, 125 watt rms is a lot. And will be loud! You wont know you have rear speakers. What you would do is fade the radio to the rear to help balance the sound, but with that much power you would have it fadded A LOT.

It's called headroom David. You control it by way of the volume knob. If you hear distortion, turn it down.

My components for the last 4 years are PPI 365cs(rebranded A/D/S speakers) rated at 60 watts RMS per side with a 87db sensitivity rating. I have ran a Carver amp bridged 300 RMS/Channel at them and they are still in the car to this day living on 123 RMS/Channel. It all depends on the installers skills to make it work. I use Autosound 2000's CD-104 test CD, a digital multi-meter and, Ohms law to set my gains to a certain voltage going to the speakers. Any installer worth his/her salt knows how to do this.

125 RMS to those Alpines is fine. Just make sure that the gains are set correctly by some one that does quality work.

yeah il have to mention that to them when I go to get it installed. I previously had cadence 5x7s in my falcon and when I turned it up it started to distort.. obviously that means your damaging your speakers?

I haven't heard of those brands before...is it only in America? So that pioneer is the best amp to get ??? within a 200$ price range still.. I'm getting paid next week

that stil doesn't make sense to me, because I wont even hear the rears if the f ront is amped...Isn't the idea to get trebles from front..and bass from the back??? Does having all speakers balanced give more bass to the back and more treble to thefront? I was told when I first installed my speakers an amp + sub combo to amp fronts and fader them up and have less from the back an let the sub give the bass...

Splits..... Meaning components? The SPR-60C....
You will require a line out to run any amp you are using. So you'll need another one.

I wound not recommend that amp.
Also would say to upgrade the stereo. With the factory out puts, you won't get what you want out if it. Unless you look into getting a "line driver"
