I'm using the ones that came with FSW Stage II kit. Not sure what size they are. I've been running this same setup for around 4 years with no issues. This smoking and oil build up is recent, within a week.

Probably the turbo but with 4 years of use a compression test wouldn't hurt.

Well, after talking to Vic at FSW, I did the troubleshooting that he recommended. I took everything apart, cleaned it up and put things back together. I fixed some boost leaks that I identified earlier, but sadly, after a mild test drive with only about 3psi on the boost, oil is still getting by on the compressor side. :-(

I was going to, but Vic told me that if I don't exactly know what to look for, it's difficult to assess what's considered excessive, so I didn't.

Its simple to check. When u have the filter off grab the comressoor wheel and try to wiggle it backand forth or push it in and out. If it has any movement then u have ur problem there. It seems oil isseepingast all this and sounds like its the culprit.its what a 3 yr old turbo? Seems od but itcould happen specially if ur driving hard right off start up without letting it idle first andturningitoffright afterboost withoutgiving it sometime to settle.

The setup is around 4 years old. I'm starting to think that it's caused by over boost. With the Cosworth replica manifold, I found out that it had all kinds of boost leaks with it. So I'm thinking that with the leaks, when I did my WOT runs for Randy is when the seal went. I have a plan in place to get it fixed, it's just going to take me a month or to.

Yes, they are BB and they can be refurbished. There's three distributors in Georgia that can do it. That's the plan. I'm not giving up on her, yet.
