I'm sure the build quality is leaps and bounds above the Chinese offerings, and I like how the light appears to be one continuous bar as opposed to several individual "light dots".

But I have to agree with the others, the size and shape of the DRL is unremarkable compared to the Ford OEM and Chinese units.

The only lights I know of that deviates from that style are these ones:

Haters gon' hate. I like that there are more options for quality American made parts for our cars. I'm not personally a fan of the triangle lights, but if people out there like them, then by all means. I was hoping the drl's were actually going to be a part of the main headlight assembly myself. I do like how it switches to a light tube when the headlights are on though, that's pretty BA if you ask me.

Didn't notice they switch to a tube light when the headlights come on--thats very unique and I definitely like that feature.

I picked up those vertical DRL's, and am having some issues installing them. There some plastic behind the triangle that is in the way. Trying to research on the forums here if that is a "needed" part that can be cut, or if I'm just hosed and need to put back in the stock triangles. :-(

Here's my thread showing pics and asking for help: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=319665

Anybody know anyone that has installed this style light yet?

These look a little different that the "beaded" lights traditionally offered. A tube looks much more professional/elegant/oem. (Audis pull off the beaded look better.) While I don't like the way lights look in the triangle part of the grill, this one looks pretty nice. (I wish someone would do something by the fogs for the people without fog lights.)

I know these are just camera phone photos, but I think some better quality photos showing the different lighting formats would do this some justice. Especially some night shots from different angles and from close up and far away. I'm not really getting an idea of what they look like.
