Speaker issue

hey all,

I have an 2012 SE. I have Sync only with the 6 speaker setup. Since I bought the car, I haven't been able to hear the rear speakers when the Fade is set to anything but mostly to the rear. I have to have it set at 4 to the rear in order to hear the rear speakers. In other systems I have used the volume has been equal between front and rear speakers when set to the middle. Do i have a problem?

if it's still under warranty then it would be worth taking in to have them look at it. generally you will hear less from the rear just do to the positioning of the speakers, but it should be a big difference.

Rear speakers are for the rear passengers and for front imaging fill only.

I.e. when you go to a live music concert to you hear music form behind you? no but you do hear the music reflecting off the surfaces from behind and they are much quieter than the front sound. ;)

Hi Alloy,

I suggest swinging by your dealership so they can take a listen and determine if your vehicle needs to be repaired. I can also look into options to help; just send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name. I'll get your information into the right hands. :)

That makes perfect sense. However when I sit in the back seat, I can't really hear the music from the rear speakers. I hear the most music from the front speakers. So that's why I posted the question to see if anyone else noticed this problem when their faders were set to the center setting.

Crystal, I will forward the info in a pm.
