Here's an idea. Boyfriend needs to get his own car.

realistically that's probably not the best solution though, just load up on extra blankets/towels and wrap his gear before tossing it in the car. Teach that man to drive stick already too

I cant remember what instrument you said he plays but if you are handy with the sewing machine, you could just make covers for his gear. He will like it because it will protect his stuff and you will like it for protecting your car. Patch on his band's name and he will look even more legit.

He's a DJ and is currently renting equipment until we get a bigger place to store all of his stuff. Making covers and stuff sounds like a really awesome idea! I'll have to get him to teach me how to sew in exchange for me teaching him how to properly drive a stick hahaha
That pink bedliner is the most ridiculous!!! I don't want to catch any more sh!t for pink stuff, the bright pink wheels already get me enough attention haha

Wait, wait, wait...

Your boyfriend can not drive stick?!? tsk, tsk!

Good luck with the junk yards!
He says he can but I've never seen it. It's on the list of things to do for sure!!

I've thought that, but I don't mind driving him around at all. He works on my moped when I don't have the time or knowledge of what I'm doing and I transport things around for him. It sounds weird I guess, but it works most of the time.

I picked up some moving blankets for super cheap from Uhaul yesterday and after loading everything in today it seemed to work perfectly! Thanks for the suggestions guys! Now I just need to figure out how to repair the damage already done and problem has been solved for the time being.
I'm still going to look into getting the 3M clear vinyl just in case.
