The AR series plugs are well worth waiting for , I would wait and order the AR103 with out a doubt vs the 103
I have to agree I have had nothing but trouble out of NGK plugs on my dyno , Hondas are the only thing I could get them to work in

I have to disagree. I think at the time when the spark plug sticky was made, the AR103's were different, but I have the AR103's and they are not visually different from the A103's like the post states. They do not have the notch that widens the flame front. IDK if this is due to a change in design or what, but the ones I have are visually identical to the A103.

There are a few slight differences between the racing and standard plugs, but the thread makes it seem like they are a world apart and they really aren't. Unless you're pushing lots of boost and need a plug with better heat performance, you're not going to notice any difference between AR103 and A103

hahahahah, thanks for that.

I never changed my location, but I'm not near Denton anymore and the one autozone near me said they were out of stock.

You know what they actually told me?
Since they were out of stock, I knowingly asked them "Is there another store around with them?"

They said, "No, we don't carry them."

Mind you, this was all after a five minute debate of me telling them;
"They aren't registered for my car model. Just search for the plugs."
He still searched for my car *face palm*.
"I don't see them" he says.

I'll just order them to the store.

Our local NAPA store had them in a day. Just called ahead.

I also have both AR103 and A103 and prefer the AR103. Not a huge deal but hey, might as well get the good ones if you're going to change them.

The visible difference in the AR103 from the A103 is the cut back ground strap. It only covers part of the center electrode. That's pretty much it.
