I'm Leaning to gloss black.

my only other issue is a have good size chunk of paint missing from the front of the passenger front wheel well. I was told it would $800-$900 to fix it. I'm looking for a much cheaper solution. I'm thinking painting black stone guards like the old 911's had.

don't go black, everyone goes black. it's boring, and i regret it myself. in all honesty, against what was said earlier, mess around with plastidip. all kinds of colors, if you hate it you can change it. i think blue would look good with the color of your car

^^agreed

I say aluminum, because silver is the new black . Everyone's going black to the point now that going silver is being different.
