I would agree. It seems that the adapter isn't able to update more that about once per second. If you look down each column, none of the numbers change in less than a 1 second timeframe. This, of course, could also be lag in processing due to the BT interface or the phone also. Synchronous logging should eliminate the lag "overlap" from one sensor to another.

Yours appears to update every half second. What OBDII adapter are you using?

Did you try the "faster communication" option?

No, I haven't. I'll try that too! Thanks.

Bluetooth OBDII? Might be a latency issue between the adapter and the phone/tablet. Not sure if you're using Torque to data log.
I have been buying more from there, and with the new video game console each game is $8 for release day shipping, plus I will probably share with my girlfriend and mom's accounts and have even more things shipped.

As for the topic I think the cheap bluetooth adapters are not fast enough, the PLX adapter is supposed to have faster updates but is 4 times the cost.

I got the blue POS and it didn't work on my car??? I ordered this: http://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products-...&keywords=bafx

I had waited a week to get it to find out it was pretty much useless and was a big let down. Any thoughts on this adapter?

That is the one I have, and I'm using it for the logs above. You will probably want one of these also: http://www.amazon.com/OBD-II-Female-...xtension+cable

That will allow you to close your access door while the adapter is plugged in.

well looking at the lag it looks like it is just ecu lag.

it is only 400 rpms before the AFR drops to where it should be and about 2 seconds.

which really isnt that bad.

the AFR spike when you shift is because when your not on the throttle the focus cuts the fuel to give you better fuel economy when like coasting down a hill.

People pay me and I end up shipping them their things lol. Prime is handy.

Did you not read reviews before purchasing? Why would you spend 23$ on that when there is this one that is half the cost?

This one.

I have the 'Faster Communication' option selected in Torque, and I have the log set up to log 4 times per second.
