Radiator air deflector sticker question (00-04)

I'm trying to figure out the refrigerant oil capacity for the A/C system in my SVT Focus but it should be the same across all Zetec cars. Can someone tell me if the capacity is on their sticker? I can't make it out on mine because it's so warped.

Thanks.

That always seems to be the first decal to go. I just have some remnants of the yellow left the rest is gone.

Awesome. Thanks for the pics.

Yeah it looks like the SVTs use different stickers, but they probably both have the same info. I guess Ford doesn't list the refrigerant oil capacity. Oh well.

In a bone dry system (which you'll never have if recharging or replacing any singular part), 1oz.
For the most part, adding an oz won't hurt. If there's too much though the cooling capacity is diminished.

Over this weekend I've replaced the accumulator, condenser, compressor, and orifice tube. None of the parts I pulled off had oil in them, I had a pretty catastrophic compressor failure and I believe most of the oil blew out of the system.

I also flushed the evap core out pretty good so most of the oil in it should be gone too. The only solid number I've found so far is a 7oz total for refrigerant oil but that's for the 05-07 Focus which is probably a little different.

The only thing I added oil to before bolting everything back up was around 3.5oz into the compressor while cycling the clutch. I'm planning on pulling a vacuum on the system tomorrow to check for leaks and such then I'm not sure about adding more oil before the whole system is charged with freon.

Thoughts?
