Intake definately, balance shaft delete, and header since I saw you already had the cat back, just check out the sticky at the top of the forum for almost every part for the 2.3L.

Intake is the best start... I did mine not to long ago
great power increase.

I'd try the cam alignment tool after that from http://marcymotorsport.com

Hmm....depends on how much $$$ we're talking about here, but I would definately go with an intake, headers, throttle body, and if you really want to, hotwire ignition. Good luck with the mods!

an intake will be the most bang for your buck. the Marcy motorsport is good (thats the one I have), but there are a few others around here. Depends on if you wanna keep this all legal... but if you've got the money, I hear that throwing on a header will give you great results. The cam tool im not sure, i havent gotten one yet, but you are supposed to dyno and all that when you tune it up. I dont have a throttle body, but I hear that on the pzev, it doesnt gain anything. Just better throttle response. That is usually the last of everyones performance mods to this car. meh, hope i've been of some help.

Definitely check out Egz's sticky on Products & Development.

With thise engine you CANNOT go wrong with an intake, not expensive, easy to install and rather significant gains because the engine was so restricted originally. But cam timing and header would also be good, especially if you did header and intake to complete your car's "breathing" pathway!

Another thing to think about since you live in CA of course is inspection/emissions... you'll fail miserably adding most of this stuff, just something to keep in mind if you care about that.

don't go playing on the highway. take it to the track.

flashers will be available shortly. it takes a while to get good tunes ready. I've had a basic one in my car for a few weeks now, two thumbs up.
