Those with a tune

Did it fix your idle?

I put different plugs in mine which made a nice difference but my idle will still drop at times.

Pretty annoying sitting at a stop light and its perfectly smooth then drops about 300 rpms for no reason.

Thanks guys.

1 more question. If I get the "drag launch" option for a 2 step launch control can I customize and change the rpms whenever I want? Or is it a one time thing that they set?

what causes bad idle is not just the tune. but mostly vacuum leaks. preferably in the pcv area

On the stock tune there is a "gas saving" feature for the idle that goes something like this in the computer

RPM = 700, try for 600
RPM = 600, try for 500
RPM = 500, Stall detected, try for 700

Then repeat.

Stupidly annoying if you are trying to drive/floor it when it hits that 500 stall point and the engine bogs down. Getting a tune fixes it for the most part.

I have Tom's tune btw.

So thats why my car has been doing that from day one

Guess I know what I'm saving up for, hope it goes good with an otherwise stock car
